Darwin days

Have just returned from the hot, humid heat of Darwin in Australia's tropical north. Darwin is a wonderful place to spend a few days, and these pictures were taken in the George Brown Darwin Botanical Gardens.
I am definitely heading back in the dry season for some more outback adventures!

  1. Ah great to see some photos from the gardens of my old home town. I was born and raised in Dwn and miss it. Not the humid wet season though. Although it's good for really slowing down and being in the moment. Definitely no rushing in Darwin! :) Sonia

  3. Thanks for your lovely comments! I did take up my watercolours and paper to Darwin but didn't manage to draw a single thing - next time I head up there I am definitely going to try and paint something - the tropical plant life is quite amazing. I can understand why you would miss it so much Sonia!

  4. Great pics - isn't Mother Nature wonderful?
I actually took some pics of the same flowers and leaves here in Thailand! I thought they were native here but obviously not...
