Busy as a butterfly?

It's been flat out here at Hiccups, I'm looking forward to having a little more time to spend in blog-land soon!

Sunday daisies

I went a little overboard on my floral patterns for a bedlinen design (so much more enjoyable to paint compared to cars, trucks and diggers...). This little number didn't make the final cut, but it kind of suits the lovely blue sky we are enjoying here in Melbourne today. Happy Sunday!

A happy Hiccups bedroom

Its always lovely to see our Hiccups designs out in the real world. Carrie very kindly sent in these images of her daughter's newly decorated bedroom which features the Hiccups design 'Beautiful Balloons'.

Thank you Carrie - I hope your daughter loves her new room!

Vroooom!

I'm looking forward to a road trip this long weekend. (My ride is a Corolla though - not quite as snappy as this red racer....)

Hiccups in Real Living magazine

Our Sunnyside and Lola designs make an appearance in the March issue of Real Living Magazine (right there in the centre bed linen combo!)

The March issue features some great kid's bedroom decoration ideas. I love the mix of colours in this bedroom for a little boy.

And this mix of unisex patterns is perfect for a shared bedroom.

An inspiring space for a young teenager,

And a vintage bed-head in a striking shade of peacock blue.

Darwin days

Have just returned from the hot, humid heat of Darwin in Australia's tropical north. Darwin is a wonderful place to spend a few days, and these pictures were taken in the George Brown Darwin Botanical Gardens.
I am definitely heading back in the dry season for some more outback adventures!
