Sketching the garden

As the rain pours down outside....
I'm having a little break from designing the Hiccups range at the moment, and am working on a design inspired by an assortment of flowers and weeds collected from the farm (before the storms hit). It's nice to have a change of subject every now and then!

  3. Thanks guys!
Hi Chris - yes, it's a 'grown-up' bedlinen design, print and embroidery. I used my new glass nib pen from Il Papiro on Degraves Street - just like using a pencil and perfect for left handers!
And hi Allison - thanks for your lovely comments, unfortunately holiday time is never long enough - straight back into tight deadlines!

    Dear Natalie,

Just wondering what type of paper you have used here for this beautiful floral sketch? Thanks Andleeb -

  6. Hi Andleeb,
I used a Bockingford 300gsm paper - it's available in about 6 soft shades - the one I used was a soft grey / linen colour.
    Hope that helps! Best wishes,
    Natalie
