Toile de Jouy Museum, Jouy-en-Josas, France

For a little bit of textile inspiration I headed to the Toile de Jouy Museum, just a short train trip from the centre of Paris, near Versailles. Beautiful toile textiles, woodblock printed Indiennes cottons and original garments and furnishings are on display here, as well as descriptions of the printing process and images of the factory during the glory days of the French textile industry.
